Summer Jobs Service: $2/hour wage incentive
Each summer, our SJS program places over 500 students in local jobs. SJS provides a $2/hour wage incentive for employers to hire students like you!
 Placements can be between April and September.
 Who can participate?
Between 15 to 24 years old (up to 29 for persons with a disability).
Planning to return to school in the fall.
How it works:
Drop by our office anytime after early April and browse our hundreds of job postings.
Complete an application for the jobs that interest you.
We will send your application to the employer for their consideration.
You can also tell an employer you want to work for about SJS. If they want to hire you, they can apply for the $2/hour wage reimbursement.
Often this is the incentive that you may need to get your foot in the door!
Come in to pick-up information you can provide to a potential employer.
