When you place a job order with us, we will refer only those who we feel confident are suited to your needs Get 4 - 5 resumes instead of hundreds from a newspaper ad or other job posting and save the advertising costs!

Employment Services Placements

Our Employment Services training incentives provide an opportunity for you to hire and train a new employee while we cover part of their wages.

Duration and hourly rate of reimbursement is based on the training requirements of the individual. A win-win situation occurs when the worker gains new skills and experience, and the employer gains a trained employee and financial acknowledgement of the time it takes to conduct the training We work with you to help ensure the employee’s success We’ll promptly send your reimbursement

Eligibility for employers:
Business is licensed to operate in Ontario.
Hiring will complement existing staff and not result in lay-offs
You have WSIB (or the equivalent) as well as third party liability insurance

Summer Jobs Service
$2 per hour wage incentive to hire students

This summer, almost 1000 students will be placed in summer jobs through SJS. As an employer, you can benefit!

How it works Complete an SJS employer application Post your positions with us... receive referrals... hire your students Some funds are available for you to hire your own students At the end of the summer, send us the total hours worked by the student and we will send you a cheque

Applications are available in March.  Apply early as this program is in high demand.

While we have an initial application deadline in early April, funds are generally available throughout the early summer, depending on demand.
